Happy New Year to all Cambridge Folk Festival fans and welcome to the brand new 2009 blog!
Even though the festival is still over 6 months away, you can start to get involved with the DESIGN A T-SHIRT COMPETITION.
Following the success of last year’s great t-shirt design by our first competition winner Rob Henderson (pictured), the Festival has decided to continue with the competition again for 2009.
The Prize
- Two full Festival tickets for next year’s Cambridge Folk Festival and one (two person tent) camping pass for Cherry Hinton Hall.
- Acknowledgement in the 2009 Festival Programme
- One free t-shirt of each style with the winning design
The Brief
The design must reflect, promote or celebrate the ‘Festival’. For example key elements of the event including the people, environment, music, performance etc. Artists should consider their design’s suitability and relevance to the Festival and its audience. The wording ‘Cambridge Folk Festival 2009’ must be included. The design must be an image suitable to be placed onto the front of a white or black t-shirt (no sleeve or back image will be considered). Designs can be original hand drawn or painted artwork or electronically designed.
Deadline for submission of entries is 9 February.
